conditions. Encapsulated transformers are standard general purpose
distribution transformers, available in various grades, enclosure materials
and electrical specifications and the main purpose of such transformers is
to lower the voltage of a given electrical circuit.
All encapsulated transformers are designed and manufactured in such a way
to insulate themselves from surrounding conditions. This is done by
encapsulating them using a variety of different materials and techniques and
hence the name.
